Summary

Fai looks like your average Xaela from a distance, but up close, he looks markedly different. For one thing, his scales are abnormally shaped (like stars) compared to other Au Ri men, as he used to be a Duskwight Elezen of Ishgardian descent, and accidentally swallowed Nidhogg's blood during Heavensward.He started to turn into a dragon, but managed to avoid being fully turned by drinking the Fantasia bottle that Minfillia gave him. However, some side-effects of the blood still remained, and he can now summon dragon wings to fly but he doesn't do it often as it hurts him in the process.After Haurchefaunt's death, he sought to become stronger so that anything like that would never happen again. Through a series of unfortunate events & skirmishes with Zenos, he managed to turn himself into an android since in his mind it was more efficient than being a normal biological being with biological needs. (He regretted it soon enough.)His eyes used to be slitted, but changed into bright white stars when he Rejoined with Ardbert's soul.

Very short-lived, very romantic. Fai's first experience with a nice lover ^-^
- Sidurgu
Sidurgu was looking for Fray in Fai, and Fai was looking for somewhere to rebound after Zenos. This backfired on both of them explosively.
- Granson (Shadowbringers Spoilers)
Granson was looking for a semi-normal relationship with Fai and... did not get one. Between the Lightwardens & the hunt for Diakaoisyne Granson was NOT equipped for handling Fai at a low mental state and they broke it off quietly.-TBA
